Katie is an architect with a passion for residential, community and arts projects. She studied architecture in Brisbane, graduating with a Masters of Architecture from the Queensland University of Technology in 2012.

Katie has a strong interest in residential architecture and using good design to enrich the way people live and interact. She also has a passion for multidisciplinary collaboration across creative disciplines, and the synergies between architecture, theatre, film, music and other arts disciplines.

Katie is also interested in emerging visualisation technologies and how they can be a strong tool in communicating architectural design intent to clients. She has extensive experience in using software such as Enscape and Lumion as design and presentation tools, as well as in Virtual Reality applications.

Spending time with family and friends, walking my Cocker Spaniel X puppy and travelling the world with my husband (or planning the next trip)

Probably something like a Mazda or a Toyota... not overly fancy, but reliable!

IF I WASN'T AN ARCHITECT, I WOULD BE...

A travel photographer, a composer of movie scores, or a production and set designer!

IF I WON A MILLION DOLLARS, I WOULD...

Definitely some towards good causes, and then I'd like to take my family on an overseas holiday.
