Oscar’s House

A stunning 1920′s Queenslander is hidden behind many alterations and even a conversion to two flats. Once the layers are peeled away and the bones of the house are revealed, a beautiful, contemporary, family home appears. The extension is partly hidden at the rear and elevated above an overland flow path. Surprising city views are captured from side windows and the roofline soars to the north, allowing light and air to penetrate deeply into the floor plan. Oscar’s House is a journey from ordinary to extraordinary.
